Peter Beste is a photographer born in Houston (Texas) in 1978. His photo book called "True Norvegian Black Metal" poped up this summer and I must say that the pictures are just dope. I went on his web page to know a lil' bit more about the dude. And going on further I juste realized that I knew a lot of the pics he did, because they were just my favorite ones in magazines such as Vice, XXL or Vibe...
Now our compadre is preparing a big thing called "Houston Rap Culture", and as his blackmetaled joint, it's a photo documentary. This stuff about the now well-known Dirty South sub culture scene, and precisely about Peter's birth town, will blow in 2009. This city is "a world on his own" as he says, better believe that... Amongst other things you'll find some pics of gentlemen as Zero, Bun B, Mike Jones, Trae, Lil Keke, to just give a few names... Damn homie, bring the sizzurp and let's wait!
